Working with Jericca to create the unique characters and environments on Animism: The Gods' Lake was an incredibly collaborative and rewarding experience. Her ability to listen and communicate on a very connected level led to a work environment that fostered individual artists to go above and beyond their own creative comfort zones and produce wonderful work. I continually learned from her incredible knowledge of cinematography, design and storytelling throughout the production. Her ability to work tirelessly on the project was an inspiration that kept the entire crew motivated through a very aggressive schedule. I had the pleasure of working with Jericca on a television project for almost an entire year. As her Editor, I worked closely with her shaping the story, creating moments, and exploring new ideas. Jericca is an absolute inspiration! I’ve had the pleasure of working on two animated feature films with her and I’ve seen the magic of her strong, creative vision. I have worked for Jericca on two feature films and I believe she is one of the most talented person I have ever known. She is extremely dedicated, focused and hard working, but she is also fun. Letting us experiment when the occasion calls for it and setting the mood for the team as if we were a tight knit family then just co-workers. She has been a mentor to me, always willing to teach her craft to anyone who has interest. Prior to working for her, I had little training in cinematography, but Jericca’s passion and enthusiasm rubbed off and now there is no other work I find more rewarding.
